Yes the Patchwork bug has hit me, it is as Siobhan says addictive, but relaxing too:)
Remember these little patches.....
Have turned out into a quilt, all done by hand, mainly because my machine skills are not sufficient on these small patches. One more band to go ~~
For the professionals look away now!! Not all of them were ironed yet and my technique is not up to scratch, but I am learning, I always listen to constructive advice too:))
The end product for the front, the difficult bit is yet to come, bias band and the backing, hopefully it will be better than my first one, many years ago:))

Wow... your quilt looks fantastic... and it's been done by hand. I'm really impressed.
It's so pretty! I love the colors so much! And all by hand too -- wow! I started out quilting by hand. I have to admit hand work is something I like better than by machine. (Which is why I like applique and English paper piecing.) Beautiful work!

I love the quilts make with small squares. And the more scrappy the happier I am.
Bertie, your nine patch quilt is lovely. And the fact that it is pieced by hand is the icing on top of the cake!
Perhaps I can save you some work by telling you that because your quilt has straight sides...i.e. no rounded corners...you do not need to cut your binding strips on the bias. You can cut them edge-to-edge and piece them together as needed.

Dutch people are wonderful and I only have an issue when visiting supermarkets,we are so spoiled here in the UK that it's a shock to the system when your shopping are pushed to bits when the next customer jumps in LOL.
