Stacy Nash Sampler Love Bag & Mary Glover Update

Last week I met up with my friends  to celebrate Britta’s birthday, we had a lovely time in London on the Kings Road were we had lunch in Le Pain Quotidien, it’s our favourite hangout, especially for the deserts (they sell their cookbook!!).  But first we had a look into Antropologie, a gorgeous shop with unusual wares. After lunch off to Carnaby street where we had tea in Camellia’s Tea House (they sell their tea’s on-line!), we were to full up to try their cakes, but it was tempting, Earl Gray with Orange blossom tea, splendid. Then a little look in Liberty’s, the shop had a different look and lots of changes and was definitely worth a visit. We chatted so much I forgot to take pictures!!

I made this Sampler bag for Britta’s birthday, a lovely project to stitch, did the finishing on the machine, also quite easy. You cannot see the pincushion which I also made; (senior moment here) but filled that with lavender so the moth stays out of the woolly bits. You can see it on SN's website:))

A Sajou Thimble box, Mother of Pearl button and a few mini Acorns.

The 6th Etape of Mary Glover, a pleasure to stitch this motif & the colours do come out quite strong, such an unusual pattern. Somehow stitching this sampler  with the deadline of specific part every 2 weeks seems to work for me:) That wine was fabulous Emmanuelle:)

A close up of the Rice stitch.

Finally it is spring and my wild life loves it, Mr P wanders around the garden with his little wife/girls, what a life!!

Your encouraging comments made my week, thank you so much, may the sun shine where you are too :))

The gift you made for Britta is lovely. Lucky girl. I enjoyed reading about your day in London. I'm going to make a note of the places you ate and visited for my next trip to London.
You have very lovely birds living in your garden.

So much to look at in the post. The gift you made is wonderful, Mary looks wonderful, your weekend in London sounds like it was wonderful, and having pheasants stroll through your garden...well, that's wonderful, too!
My husband is crazy about pheasants. I love seeing Your photos of them.

Wat lief dat je dat voor Britta hebt gedaan.
Ik ben nog steeds in het ziekenhuis e er komt van borduren niets meer terecht.

What a nice gift for your friend! Your sampler bag is so pretty and it reminds me of I have some of Stacy's booklets I haven't stitched any thing from them yet. lol Mary is growing so nicely. I just started step 7 in this morning, but havent made much progress of it yet. I can't wait for the last part of her at the bottom!!

Your work is beautiful. Liberty is my all time favourite shop. I haven't been there for quite a while, but it is the sort of shop where I need to go on my own so that I can browse around for hours without a certain husband saying 'what are you looking at that for?' !!
