A Gift & A Win

Last week I got a wonderful surprise in the post, a gift from Merumo the Talented!! (The flue got to me last week, hence the late post) She made a  gorgeous bag for me and on the band she embroidered the birds which you can see on one of my very first post, (I had a one day fling in design) and  not stitched it myself at all. I don't know how Merumo could see it on that graph, it is so tiny:)) Thank you so much Merumo, a real treasure. On her blog you will see a link how to make it.

The pins are so lovely, I am told they are used for keeping the binding in place with patchwork, of course ignorant  me I thought they were hairpins !! but Merumo put that soon right:)) The buttons are beautifully covered:) Your a star Merumo!

Last week Carol,  who is a very talented designer, send me an email that I had won her giveaway on her blog, 2 surprises in one week!! lucky me, I could choose one of her wonderful charts, so I chose Sew Animalistic :)) Thank you so much Carol! Will definitely stitch that soon!

No Mary Glover this week, I am of to Holland and will take her with me, I am sure there will be some time to stitch when watching the Great Wedding on Friday, hope you all enjoy it, who doesn't love a Love story!! Just KEEP CALM lol.
Thank you so much for all your great comments, it is a great pleasure to read them:))

Bummer about the flu! Hope you're all better now. What a lovely surprise from Merumo! Beautiful too! And lucky you to win Carol's giveaway too! I wish they'd decided to make the royal wedding a bit later in the day. I really don't want to get up at 3am to watch. lol!

Glad to hear your like the bag :) It was fun stitching what you designed and added onto the bag front! And congrats to your lovely win!! I'd need to take a closer look at that chart as I may find Ms. Limo in somewhere!?
