This is a pattern from Threads Through Time, it is embroidered over 1 on 50 count?? I don't know really, but this material is quite thin and used for covering mount board. I bought this sampler a couple of years ago from Kunst & Vliegwerk, you don't think I did this do you!!, 50 count over 1 :)LOL It would not be kind to my eyes.
I made one for my friend Britta though on 32/35 count linen in January.

It fitted perfectly in this frame which I had in my stash.
I just had to show you this cub, he/she has 4 siblings but I did not manage to capture them together. but they played for quite some time in my very wild garden which has now been attended too.

Speaking of birds, in our little city garden there are 2 birds building their nest. It is lovely to see them working and flying around. Perhaps we have some small tomtit birds this summer.
xx Sandra
I admire your patience stitching over one and on 50ct! It is beautiful!
I love the gifts you made, Bertie! Beautiful! I love how you wrapped up Sandra's gift, too. The fox cubs are sooooo adorable! I had never seen a fox in the 'wild' before, and then saw one on the neighbor's front lawn a few weeks ago. Totally freaked me out (can you tell I'm from the suburbs?! LOL) but it was SO neat.
Mooi borduurtje in een heel mooi lijstje. Verder ook leuke foto's van de beestenboel en het verjaarscadeautje is super!
Those foxes are adorable! Thanks for sharing the pictures. If you saw mine, you wouldn't say your garden was messy!
You girls amaze me with your talent!!! 50 over 1, Oh my goodness, I could never do that!!! I love your work! I can email you a copy of the pattern that I used for my lunch bag if you like!!! I didn't really follow it as far as the design and size but the general idea is the same!
Hugs,
