Visiting Sajou in Versailles

We got a fantastic welcome from Carolyn and Frederique (owner of Sajou), and our eyes did not know where to look first. A big thank you  for the warm welcome, you all  made our day.

The Sajou booklets are lovely and here you can see how to embroider them yourself.

Everything was displayed so lovely, the cataloque is a must and collectable too.

We did some shopping as well, no surprise there, I purchased a 6 drawer cabinet and some haberdashery to fill the drawers.

Threads, thread winders, ribbons, I have got my own little shop now LOL. (please note : not all the stash was bought on 1 day!!)

Linen teatowel, the New Red books and a  Boite A Couture which I bought last year. The Sajou knife is just gorgeous, a cornflower motif.

After all the shopping I needed a nap, so Chris & Sandra dropped me of at my booth which was well equipped LOL.

Oh how lucky you are to be able to go there! The minute I saw the 6 drawer unit I said to myself 'wouldn't that look nice here?' - in my dreams I think!

Thanks for the photos.

Wow Bertie, that cabinet is amazing - how on earth did you manage to get that home, it must weigh quite a bit. Glad you all had a great time in Paris.

I love your pictures. When are you going to start 'kantklossen'? Perhaps after tomorrow your sister will join you, LOL!!!
I will keep you informed about our haberdashery we take from the fair at Zwolle.
