This A&E is part of a sampler from the Celle Museum, this pattern was in one of there yearly dairy's, but the good news is that Permin has charted this sampler.
The sampler was quite large, I got cold feet and stopped when this section was done.
Started in 2000 and finished in 2007, (I did a lot of gardening in between)!!
The peacock heart was made by my friend Lyn in AU.
The heart buttons are ceramic and I found them in the V&A.
Don't you just love Hearts, I do and got all mine together in a little display to remind my loved one of Valentine's day :-)) but I know that he will not forget......
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day, whilst I shall celebrate the day with my stitching friends in Paris at the l'Aiguille en Fete or some wonderful Fleamarket.

Oh Bertie, your A&E looks wonderful. I think I know the sampler that the section came from and I have to agree that it is a monster!! And hearts are my favorite. You have such a wonderful collection of them!
